The New York Knicks became the first team to reach the NBA conference finals this Sunday, sweeping the Philadelphia 76ers 4-0 in the Eastern Conference semifinals.

Fueled by an incredible barrage of three-pointers, the Knicks steamrolled the 76ers 114-144, advancing to the Eastern Conference Finals for the second consecutive year.
The Knicks tied a playoff record with 11 three-pointers in the opening quarter and set a historic mark with 18 in the first half, setting the tone from the start on their way to a seventh straight win.
New York finished with 25 three-pointers, matching another postseason record, to complete the 4-0 sweep over the 76ers in this Eastern semifinal series.
The Knicks return to the conference finals for the second straight season, after enduring 24 consecutive seasons without reaching that stage in the playoffs.

They now await the winner of the series between the top-seeded Detroit Pistons and the fourth-seeded Cleveland Cavaliers for a spot in the NBA Finals.
The Knicks are chasing their first NBA title in more than half a century, dating back to 1973.
“One game at a time,” said Knicks star Jalen Brunson, who scored 24 points on Sunday at the Xfinity Mobile Arena in Philadelphia.
Miles McBride led the visitors with 25 points, while Dominican Karl-Anthony Towns contributed a double-double of 17 points and 10 rebounds.
