“If Zenit doesn’t lose in Rostov, give the gold medal to Lunyov!!!” Kerzhakov wrote on his personal Telegram channel.
During the match, Dynamo Moscow goalkeeper Andrey Lunyov made two crucial saves, helping his team secure all three points. Notably, Lunyov played for Zenit Saint Petersburg from 2017 to 2021.
Currently, Krasnodar sits in second place with 63 points, two points behind league leaders Zenit (65 points). To claim the title, the southern side must beat Orenburg in the final round and hope Zenit loses to Rostov.
