FC Barcelona has been crowned champion of LaLiga EA Sports for the 2025/26 season. After an almost flawless domestic campaign, Hansi Flick’s side sealed the title at the Spotify Camp Nou against Real Madrid—a historic achievement for the club, which now adds its 29th league trophy to the record books.
The Blaugrana only needed a single point to claim the championship this Sunday. It was a historic opportunity, as Barça had never secured the league title against their eternal rivals, turning the match into a decisive final that the Catalan side did not waste.
A 2-0 victory over Real Madrid allowed them to celebrate the title with three matchdays still to play. The gap between Barça and Madrid now stands at 14 points, with the possibility of reaching 100 points in the league—a feat achieved only twice in history.
Congratulations poured in following the triumph. One of the most notable came from Javier Tebas, who praised the team in both Catalan and Spanish: “They have built a brave, intense, and recognizable team. With young talent, ambition, and a very clear playing philosophy, they are collectively building a very solid project,” he posted on Twitter.
“They have conquered the best league in the world with authority and merit: LaLiga. Congratulations to the coaching staff, players, directors, and fans of FC Barcelona for this title,” Tebas concluded.
FC Barcelona is champion of LaLiga EA Sports for the 29th time.
