With a win for Real Madrid meaning the title race would continue, a draw or loss would have handed Barcelona the La Liga championship.
The video, titled “Before and After,” offered a glimpse into the players’ everyday life between team photos and dressing room moments. It showed a group of Barcelona stars sitting anxiously in a theater, clutching popcorn and drinks, hoping to celebrate the league title without leaving their seats.
However, the script did not go as planned. Vinícius Júnior scored twice, leading Real Madrid to a 2-0 victory over Espanyol, postponing Barcelona’s title celebration.
