According to DraftKings Sportsbook odds as of May 10, AJ Dybantsa is the overwhelming favorite at -400 (bet $10 to win $12.50 total). Following him are Darryn Peterson at +330, Cameron Boozer at +1600, and Caleb Wilson at +2800.
The trio of freshmen—Dybantsa, Peterson, and Boozer—dominated college basketball last season. Dybantsa, who played for BYU, was the NCAA scoring champion with 25.5 points per game, added 6.8 rebounds, and earned both Big 12 Freshman of the Year and consensus first-team All-America honors. Cameron Boozer, a Duke standout, averaged 22.5 points and 10.2 rebounds, capturing National Player of the Year and first-team All-America recognition. Darryn Peterson, despite battling injuries for much of the season at Kansas, put up 20.2 points and 4.2 rebounds per game, earning second-team All-Big 12 honors.
With the draft order finalized, analysts are now examining team needs, starting with the Wizards. Utah picks second (22-60 record), Memphis third (25-57), Chicago fourth, and the LA Clippers fifth.
